Fashion journalism

My fascination with fashion stems from the way it mirrors societal and cultural tendencies. What is the true meaning of a so-called trend, what is up with poofy sleeves, sculpted heels or love for specific colours? As always, there is more than meets the eye. Preferring what goes on behind closed doors over shiny facades, I spend a lot of time backstage, hanging around secluded design studios, interviewing and searching for the untold, hidden angle in every story.

Not one to tick one box, I’m interested in everything -except race cars, 12th-century bibles and mathematics. Hence, I’m more than happy to dive into the untold history of plastics, forgotten explorers’ biographies, abstract photography, the souvenir business thriving on royal weddings, brutalist architecture, teenage poetry, surf subcultures in Africa, travel itineraries in South-East Asia, the secret language of wolves, the Sun King’s military expansion in Europe, the way moon cycles affect our everyday life, or a study on the psychological effect of Pokemon Go. Likewise, I am always interested in writing coffee table books, children’s novels, lifestyle publications, historical treaties, cookbooks or biographical accounts.

Being a bit obsessed with books, I will gladly help you on personal projects too. Have you always dreamed of publishing something about your own life, business or passion?
